that director Siddique is the major factor.
"His previous films Bodyguard and Chronic
Bachelor have been blockbusters. His track
record has also fetched a high price in
remake rights of the film that have been
sold in all major languages.
"Add to that Mohanlal's contribution in
overseas rights close to Rs 1 crore and
satellite rights of reaching over Rs 3.5
crore. All these factors significantly
contributed to the meteoric figures, which
approximately comes to a staggering 1.5
cr profit prior-release which is way
applaudable" he says.
Antony Perumbavoor and C J Roy of
confident group, who have created
Mohanlal's biggest flop in 'Casanovva,'
seems to have worked heavily on the
prepublicity of the film, which will
definitely avoid any negative news after
the release.Anyhow, 'ladies and
Gentleman' is all set to release by the 12 th
of this month and will take on Laljose's
"Immanuel' and 'Vysakh's 'Sound Thoma'
which are presently on theatres
With the film set to be a festival release, the
initial collection would undoubtedly boost
the movie's earnings and if Siddique can
continue his winning run, Ladies and
Gentleman would be a marquee film as far
as Mollywood is concerned when it comes
to big budget movies.

Salman Khan and Sohail's love for Cricket is known. Looks like the passion for sports runs in the entire family as the kids in the 'Khan'daan too have taken a liking to it.
We've heard uncle Salman even takes the kids to a posh gaming place-cum- lounge, located in central Mumbai, as and when possible so that they can indulge in their favourite sports. It's a family outing of sorts.
Our source at the gaming zone revealed, "Salman gets the kids of his family along as and when possible. They love to play Cricket and a couple of other sports too. They spend a lot of time here as and when they come."

Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan is one man who has remained true to his roots. Despite tasting roaring success in his professional life, Sallu hasn't changed a bit.
Anil Kapoor, another Bollywood star, will vouch for that.
Recently, the veteran actor spoke up for Salman and told Indian daily 'The Times of India' that Salman did not change even with super stardom staring at him at such close quarters.
In fact, success has not changed Salman Khan's life much over the years. He still lives in the 400-500 sq. ft. studio apartment that he did at the beginning of his career.
Even though there have been rumours of him planning to move into his own pad in Mumbai's Bandra area, near Shah Rukh Khan's mansion 'Mannat'.
But, what has changed and, in fact, grown over the years, are his fans, friends and his popularity with all those that he rubs his shoulders with.
